Cruise Aboard the US CGC Barque Eagle!

Wow!  The opportunity of a lifetime!

Currently registered Sea Scouts are invited to apply to cruise aboard the US CGC Barque Eagle.  Three one-week long cadet training cruise opportunities are available from 26 Jul to 15 August 2009 top-performing Sea Scouts that are interested in a career in the U.S. Coast Guard.  

Download, fill-out and submit your applications no later than May 29, 2009.


57 Annual Ancient Mariner Regatta

Since 1952, the historical and action packed Ancient Mariner Regatta has challenged thousands of Sea Scouts to do their best as they compete in the event's twenty-five exciting venues including seamanship, whaleboat races, sailing, piloting, knot tying and much more. 

This annual event occurs every Memorial Day weekend in northern California and is an opportunity that you don't want to miss!  The planning process for the 57th Annual Ancient Mariner Regatta is well underway and we invite you to check back with us often to see how we are progressing.

The [Your Name Here] Regatta is s Sea Scout sailing regatta and Official Koch Cup Qualifying  Regatta that will be held in sunny Redwood City, California.  The regatta will be held July 24th to 26th, 2009 and we'd love to have you aboard!  Non-competing Sea Scouts supporting their racing teams are encouraged to enjoy the summertime weather and cheer on their shipmates.

The Race Committee and Organizing Authority are the Sea Scouts of the Pacific Skyline Council, Boy Scouts of America.  The event is hosted by the Sequoia Yacht Club, Outdoors Unlimited, Inc., and the Stanford Sailing Center.
