Youth Protection Training Conference 2010

Attendees at the First Biennial Youth Protect Conference praised the course offerings and content.  Many told us that this had been the most useful youth protection and safety training that they had ever attended.  We are looking to make this conference even better!

When you attend this year's conference you will earn 6 certifications in advance of BSA's Direct-Contact Leader training initiative.  These include the new Sea Scout Adult Leader Basic Training program which is required of all Sea Scout adult leaders and the new Hazardous Weather Training program enhanced for units that experience off-shore and at-sea activities.

In addition to the BSA's official training programs we will have experts that will offer additional insight into the challenges and pitfalls our youth are facing today.  You won't want to miss our discussions on social networking and gang violence.
